Content Writer and Community Manager

Berkeley Payment Solutions is looking for a full time Content Writer and Community Manager to assist with creating high quality B2B content for the corporate website, sales material, email campaigns, proposals, and more.

This is a creative copywriting role that also has publishing duties to the corporate website and to social media, with direction and oversight from the Director, Marketing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • This role will help drive traffic to web pages, build strong connections with existing and potential clients, and generate leads that drive revenue
  • Develop and write human-friendly, consumable, and engaging blog posts, long form articles, ebooks, presentations, email campaigns, proposals, thought leadership pieces and more
  • Communicate complex information clearly, simply, and free of jargon
  • Turn complex financial topics into meaningful and relatable content
  • Manage the content calendar and weekly production schedule
  • Publish to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter and manage the corporate social media presence with direction and oversight from the Director, Marketing
  • Ensure content is written with SEO best practices and help execute inbound content marketing campaigns with a focus on increasing quality organic traffic to our site
  • Work closely with our Graphic Designer to produce high quality, creative, and engaging content that drives key performance indicators
  • Research and stay on top of the latest industry news and events
  • Support the ongoing Berkeley re-brand and new website launch

Qualifications:

  • Background in English, Journalism, Communications or related field is ideal
  • Flawless writing and editing skills for diverse audiences
  • A digital native who understands how content and design comes together, and the value of good online storytelling
  • Strong knowledge of social media publishing best practices
  • Experience with WordPress and maintaining a social media presence
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and critically about our business, our products, and our target industries

Bilingual Client Service Coordinator

The Client Service Coordinator serves as a resource for the Client Services team and acts as the front-line contact for Berkeley’s Corporate Clients. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in delivering pre and post-sales support for key client relationships, assisting in developing programs to identify and exceed client objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming client and cardholder calls, and responds or directs accordingly
  • Work with the Client Service team in the intake of new clients, and the maintenance of client records
  • Maintain and input client information into system software
  • Document communication with clients and partners
  • Work collaboratively with Client Service and the other teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Highlight any priority items, take initiative in bringing issues to manager and team

.NET Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled full-stack .NET Developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web and mobile applications. You will work alongside a small, experienced, delivery-oriented team to create new solutions for the payments industry.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop high quality and scalable solutions
  • Maintain and enhance existing software solutions and develop new software products
  • Ensure system compliance to financial services regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience as a developer with .NET frameworks and SQL Server
  • Proficient with web development
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in third party integration with banking systems.
  • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.
  • Experience with BizTalk would be an asset.
  • Mobile App development experience will be an asset
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
  • Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to express thoughts clearly, know how to listen, and contribute in a team environment
  • Experienced working in small, hands-on, collaborative development teams
