Client Service Manager

Operations

The Client Service Manager serves as a resource for the Client Service team and acts as the front-line contact for Berkeley’s Corporate Clients.  The candidate will be responsible for assisting in delivering pre and post-sales support for key client relationships, assisting in developing programs to identify and exceed client objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer incoming client and cardholder calls and responds or directs accordingly.
  • Work with the Client Service team in the intake of new clients, and the maintenance of client records.
  • Maintain and input client information into system software.
  • Document communication with clients and partners.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Service and the other teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Highlight any priority items, take initiative in bringing issues to manager and team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bilingual English and French mandatory.
  • College diploma/ University degree (marketing, business admin. or relevant field).
  • 1+ years proven customer service and relationship management experience.
  • Familiarity with credit and debit card markets and products is an asset.
  • Proven experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Natural affinity for relationship building.
  • Ability to work efficiently, understand sense of urgency in appropriate situations.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

The inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Senior Sales Executive, Canada – Financial Services

Berkeley is seeking a Toronto-based, Senior Sales Executive to drive the growth of branded payment solutions in the field of banking & insurance. The Senior Sales Executive will lead / participate in all aspects of the sales cycle, including generating leads, driving opportunities, manage prospect relationships, and close new business, as well as retain and grow key clients. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and reach prospects and an individual who has experience in B2B sales.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly-motivated, and results-oriented team player with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling, who understands the value of research and the importance of personalizing value propositions and messaging to target prospects. The self-motivated individual will have an understanding and experience with Consultative Selling. He or she is highly driven and values the benefit of being part of an agile growing team.

The successful candidate will be based in Toronto and will report to the VP, Sales.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales territory plan to meet / exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Develop pipeline in sales territory through prospecting, meeting, attending conferences/events, calling, and email
  • Provide sales territory analysis and insight, accurate and timely data within the Sales CRM system, and accurate forecasting
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the insurance industry as well as nurturing potential customer accounts to develop relationships
  • Schedule and lead customer introductions and meetings
  • Leverage LinkedIn and Salesforce to promote company services and generate new prospects
  • Ability to listen to and interpret customer requirements, build knowledge of customer challenges, and present solutions that directly apply to customer needs
  • Create and deliver sales presentations
  • Measure the outcomes of different messaging and contact approaches and adapt to continuously improve results
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on services offered by the company and its competitors
  • Participate in team meetings to keep the company up-to-date on sales and marketing efforts
  • Positively represent the company and provide excellent customer service
  • Travel as needed (typically for large prospects that are well qualified)

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in successful B2B sales and/or account management experience, including 3-5 years of industry experience in insurance or payments
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a focus in Sales, Marketing, or Business is preferred
  • Strong network in the insurance industry within territory with proven ability to close enterprise accounts
  • Successful sales track record with the ability to provide documented results
  • Experience using a CRM software as part of the sales process, specifically Salesforce experience is an asset

Business Development Representative

Berkeley is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to perform account-based development. As part of the Sales team, the BDR will leverage the latest tools and techniques to develop target accounts. Success will be measured in appointments scheduled on behalf of a team of Sales Executives and discovery of new sales opportunities.

There are four core elements of the Berkeley BDR role:

  • Research and develop insights on target accounts

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become an expert on Berkeley’s value propositions and messaging
  • Identify buyer personas and influencers within target accounts

  • Set up and refine account plans with Sales Executives & Marketing counterparts
  • Create and refine strategic efforts for outbound prospecting

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in a B2B technology/software environment preferred
  • 4-year degree mandatory; a specialization in English, Marketing, or Business a plus
  • Salesforce experience a must
